Lams/skaap rib in die oond
Kook skaaprib met beesvleis ekstrak. blokkie in stoompot tot murgsag, so 20 minute. Meng 50ml appelkooskonfyt 25ml tamatiesous en 12.5ml elk van asyn, Worcestersous, sojasous. 5ml elk aromat, braaivleisspesery en knoffelsout, tot gladde pasta. Verf oor rib en braai onder oondrooster. Draai om verf nog sous oor en braai onderkant tot bros. Het die reseppie donkie jare terug in tydskrif gekry en na al die jare,die lekkerste wat ek nog geproe het. As dit ‘n groot rib is maak sous dubbeld aan. Probeer dit, is vinger afeet lekker, promise !

Fall off the bone Slow Cooker Ribs!

Ingredients
1.5 kg pork ribs
1 cup water
1/4 cup sherry
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and pepper
BBQ Sauce (your choice) I started with a 1/4 cup over the top of the ribs. Towards the end of the 10 hours I poured more BBQ sauce over the top.

Directions
1. Place ribs sitting up in the Slow Cooker
2. Pour ingredients over the ribs. I poured the BBQ Sauce last and then added a bit more right before I served the ribs
3. Cook LOW and slow for 10 hours in the slow cooker.

Bestandele:1 kg varkribbetjie

4 cm gemmer gerasper

2 spruituie gekap

60ml heuning

60ml Bovril

2 knoffelhuisies fyngekap

Gerasperde skil en sap van 1 suurlemoen

45 ml olyfolie

30 ml vars tiemie gekap

125 ml tamatiesous

 

Metode:

Meng alles saam en bring tot kookpunt vir 5 minute

Giet oor ribbetjie en laat afkoel.

Sit in plastiese houer, seel, en laat staan  in yskas vir tenminste 2 ure

Braai oor matige kole of in oond. (Drup sous heeltyd bo-oor)
