Kitspoeding – instant poeding – blancmange

MAAK JOU EIE KITSPOEDING:

VANILLA POEDING

Bestanddele:

1/2 koppie suiker
1/4 koppie mielieblom (maizina)
2 eiergele, geklits
1/4 teelepel sout
2 1/2 koppies melk
1 eetlepel botter
1 1/2 teelepel vanieljegeursel

Metode;
Meng al die bestanddele in ‘n medium kastrol oor medium hitte. Roer aanhoudend totdat poeding verdik vir ongeveer 5 tot 10 minute. Hou verkoel.

Variasies:
Sjokoladepoeding: Voeg 2 sjokolade blokkies by

Botterkaramel poeding: gebruik 1/2 koppie ligte bruinsuiker en 1/4 koppie suiker in plaas van 1/2 koppie suiker

• YIELD: 2 Servings
• COOK: 10 mins
Ingredients
6 Tbls Sugar
1/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
2 Tbls Cornstarch (maizina)
1 1/2 Cups Milk
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Raspberries
Instructions
1. In a saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa and cornstarch. Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Cook and stir until thickened. Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla extract. Cover and refrigerate until chilled. Serve in single cups. Garnish with desired topping.

Ai, hoe vat dit my terug na Sondae se middagetes by ouma-hulle, en ouma se “blâ-maansh”-poeding, wat ons nou nog in die familie maak! Met die ouerword het ek agtergekom dis eintlik blancmange … 

5 e mielieblom ( “Maizena”) ; 5 e suiker, 2 k melk; halwe teelepeltjie elk van vanieje en amandelgeursel. Meng die mielieblom en suiker goed en maak aan met ‘n halwe koppie koue melk. Kook terselfdertyd die ander 1 en ‘n halwe koppie melk. Roer die mengsel in die kokende melk ( ‘n draad -eierklitser maak dit maklik). Haal van die stoof af en gooi die geursel by. Laat afkoel en geniet met gestoofde of vars vrugte. 

In die mikrogolf is dit nóg vinniger en makliker.
