VRUGTEKELKIE KOEK
2 kop bruismeel
2 eiers
1 t koeksoda
1 k suiker
1 blik fruit coctail (met sous) (med grootte)
Opsioneel: Gekapte neute (1/2 kop kan bygevoeg word)
Meng alle bestanddele saam Bak in oond van 180 C vir n 30 min.

Sous:
Kook saam: 3 desertlepels botter, 1/2 kop ideal melk, 1/2 kop klapper, 1 tl vanilla, 1 kop suiker
Prik die koek oral met n vurk en gooi die sous oor terwyl dit nog warm is

FRUIT COCTAIL CAKE

1 cup Self-Rising Flour
1 cup Sugar
1 can Fruit Cocktail With Juice (med size)
Unsweetened Whipped Cream, For Serving
Preheat oven to 180 C Grease 8-inch square baking dish with butter.
Stir together flour, sugar, and fruit cocktail with juice until just combined.
Pour into buttered pan and bake until warm and bubbly.
Serve warm with unsweetened whipped cream.

FRUIT COCTAIL CAKE
Deur: 4kowboys

CAKE
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups self raising flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 can fruit cocktail (with sauce)
1/3 cups brown sugar
1/2 cups chopped almonds or pecans (optional)
SAUCE
6 tablespoons butter
1 can ideal milk
3/4 cups sugar
Cream or ice cream

Mix first 5 ingredients together with a mixer and spread evenly in a greased 9×13 pan. Mix together brown sugar and nuts and sprinkle on top. Pat gently. Bake at 180 C for 40 minutes or until done. In saucepan, bring to boil butter, milk, and sugar. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour warm glaze over baked cake while still warm. Serve with cream or ice cream
