Kook patats tot gaar (sonder suiker) maak fyn – laat afkoel.
Jy kan ‘n rol Puff pastry gebruik of:
Kors:
250gr botter
750ml meel
15ml bakpoeier
2 groot eiers
125ml melk
Vryf droe bestandele in
Voeg eiers en melk by en meng goed.
Rol uit, 5mm dik.
Smeer patats 1cm dik oor deeg
Plaas bietjie suiker (wit of bruin) en paar klontjies botter onder in bak se bodum.
Rol op en sny skywe van 2.5cm dik en pak in gesmeerde bak
Sous:
Gooi 150ml suiker (wit of bruin) en 250ml room bymekaar en bring tot kookpunt
Gooi bo-oor patats en bak in oond vir 30/40min by 180grade C
Ek het bruinsuiker vir die resep gebruik.
SWEET POTATO ROLL
2 kg cooked mashed sweet potatoes and cooled (no sugar added)
Crust
250gr butter
750ml flour
15ml baking powder
2 large eggs
125ml milk
Rub in dry ingredients
Add eggs and milk and mix well.
Roll out, 5mm thick.
Spread sweet potatoes 1cm thick on the dough
Roll and cut 2.5cm thick slices and place in a greased bowl
Sauce:
Pour 150ml brown sugar and 250ml cream in a pot and bring to a boil
Pour over sweet potatoes and bake in oven for 30/40min at 180grade C
If in a hurray – skip the crust part and use a puff pastry roll.
